Our client contacted us for this project as she had an unused space in her home that she wanted to utilize. At the time she had been using it as a storage space. We spoke on the phone and agreed that we would do a two-hour home consultation. During the consultation it became clear that our client enjoyed entertaining yet had no suitable area to do so. It was agreed that the space would become a dining area. It was important for our client to keep this space stylish and chic.

She wanted something special that would reflect her personality. We chose a dusty pink all over colour on the walls, architrave and ceiling. We carefully curated specific furniture, lighting and accessories which would best reflect the client’s individual taste. We created a chic intimate space.

When our client contacted us for this project, they had an idea of what they wanted but were unable to bring it to fruition. They had made mistakes in the past which had cost them money and time. They did not want this to happen again, so they got in touch with us. After the initial complimentary phone call, I discovered that they needed help the layout, furniture selection, colour choices, accessories and styling.

We worked closely with them planning out the space and what way it would work best for them and their busy lifestyle. We chose a dark grey all over the walls and a lighter shade on the architrave. We recommended furniture and accessories to suit their unique style. We selected the right artwork that reflected their taste and at the very end we styled the apartment.

Living space re-design.

Arnotts Dublin 1 Dressing room design. The brief was to create a luxurious dressing space keeping it in tune with the stores image and brand. The original ceiling floor tiles were taken out to give extra height extending what was a very confined space. The upper part of the wall and ceiling was painted a dark grey to create an opulent yet intimate feel. A soft grey carpet was installed in one part to produce some comfort for customers using the space.

Arnotts Dublin 1 A velvet curtain, full length mirror and gray designer chair complete the look.

Arnotts Dublin 1 A powder blue wall paired with Kartell rocking chairs, soft furnishings and low lighting . A custom built room divider was built to cordon off the area offering parents some privacy if they felt they needed it. Lots of greenery teamed with custom wicker wall art completes the space.

Arnotts Dublin 1 This space is in a busy department with a high footfall. A part of the brief was to ensure the space felt calm for those utilizing it. As it is within the ladies fashion department so I made sure to keep it stylish and on brand.

TESTIMONIALS
"This was our second project with Olivia Lane Design and we are just as pleased with the results this time as the first. We had two side-by-side rooms and couldn’t decide on which should be the living room and which should be the dining room. Trish came up with the perfect layout, furniture and decor that has given us the ultimate entertaining space we were looking for. If you need design help, I absolutely recommend giving Olivia Lane Design a try!"
